NYC - Day 3
Today was the day to take it slow and recover from last night. We were abruptly woken up this morning by the phone in our room. It was one of the bridesmaids telling us that the shuttle that was taking us to our brunch was scheduled to depart the hotel at 11:30, so we had 90 minutes to get ready. The bride later called me to say that she inadvertently planned her wedding brunch for father's day and the place we were gonna go would not be able to accommodate our party on this day. Whoooops! Understandable. The new plans were to eat at her grandmother's house in Jamaica Queens. An interesting factoid I learned about NYC: an overcast doesn't necessarily mean cool weather. E and I looked out of our hotel window and saw the clouds and immediately thought we better bring a light sweater and long sleeves. WRONG! We get outside and it was humider than a mf'er. Yes, I know humider isn't a word but I don't know how else to describe it. Looks like my cute Sean John track jacket will have to wait for another time!
So day 3 was very chill. We ate at the bride's grandmother's house, looked at old photo albums, sipped on some adult beverages, and reminisced on the days of yore. All in all a very relaxing day.
Here are all the pics from day 3. Click on the image to advance to the next pic.
We head to Manhattan tomorrow!!! Time to rest up!

Did you really just write "Looks like my cute Sean John track jacket will have to wait for another time!" When are you hitting up the gay districts in NYC? You can wear it then...
